Help your children take the opportunities to help and serve other people.
I like this video below of a young man who served the people in his Ward by being the Ward Pianist, even though he became nervous each time he went to the piano to play for the church services.
He learned that it's OK to make mistakes along the way. It is still good to serve. As a a whole, it blessed all of the people who were able to sing the hymns at church. I am sure they appreciated him playing -- especially if they couldn't play the piano themselves.
