This blogger talks about why she takes her children to church.
I agree with her that it's important to teach children things that you feel are important for them to know about.
Your children are young. One day they will be able to make really good decisions on their own; however, when they are little, they need your guidance. They need their parents to show them the right way to go.
They need to be given ideas about what kinds of entertainment is good, and what is not good; they need to be stopped from running out into a busy street; they need to be given advice about life, love & lollipops!
They will ASK for your advice on many things. There are many things they do not know. Some things, they will have to learn by experience, but there are some things that they should not have to learn by experience.
