Songs for Family Home Evening Night or Any Other Night!

Singing songs was a big part of my life when I was growing up.

My parents sang everywhere.

For Family Home Evening, we usually sang a few songs.

Here are two of my favorite hymns, "Love at Home" and "Love One Another".

The first link for "Love at Home" is the hymnal version with a computerized keyboard accompaniment.  You can sing along with it.  Just press the "play" arrow there just above the hymn.  (You can also change the tempo of the song in that bar near the top of the song.  I like listening to the song at the tempo of "91".  The recording doesn't sustain the fermatas... just so you know.)  The second link is the Mormon Tabernacle Choir singing "Love at Home".

I love this second song, "Love One Another".  (I like listening to it at the tempo of "66".)  I first heard it during General Conference when I was a teenager.  The Mormon Tabernacle Choir sang it.  At that time, we could only hear the audio transmission of conference via satellite -- this was before video transmission.

The first link for "Love One Another" is the hymnal version with a computerized keyboard accompaniment.  You can sing along with it.  The second link is a video with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir singing while other video images are shown throughout the song.

You can access the entire hymnal at the link above the title of the songs where it says, "HYMNAL".
